Engineered Wood

Real wood surface, rock-solid core.

A hardwood veneer over a stabilised multi-ply base — engineered wood gives you the beauty of solid timber without the movement issues. Ideal for London flats with underfloor heating and Brighton properties near the coast.

§ 03 · Questions

Good to know.

Is engineered wood real wood?+

Yes — the top layer is genuine hardwood. Only the base is engineered ply for stability.

Can it go over underfloor heating?+

Absolutely. It's the recommended timber floor for UFH — we glue-down over a level screed.

How long does it last?+

25–40 years typical, and it can be sanded back at least once to restore.
